Age of Empires 4 gameplay video released

Last week, Microsoft released its first Age of Empires 4 gameplay video at the X019 in London.

The video shows scenes from a battle set in the Medieval era between two factions that appear to be the English and Mongols. No details on the game were given, though, and a release date was not mentioned.

Age of Empires 4 is being developed by Relic Entertainment.

On the same day that the Age of Empires 4 gameplay video was released, Microsoft launched Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, its remastered version of the real-time strategy game Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings first released in 1999, on the Microsoft Store, Steam, and for subscribers to Xbox Game Pass for the Windows PC.

With few details on new Dragon Age game, time to relive DA:I climax

BioWare announced that it is working on a new Dragon Age game last December but few details were released.

In the meantime, fans can relive the excitement from Dragon Age: Inquisition with this video of cutscenes of the climactic final battle with Corypheus.

Total War: Three Kingdoms scheduled for release in spring 2019

Total War goes to China in the next edition of the series.

Based on Luo Guanzhong’s 14th Century historical novel, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Total War: Three Kingdoms follows the dramatic lives of near-mythical warring lords and their retainers in 2nd to 3rd century China.

Developed by Creative Assembly and published by SEGA, Total War: Three Kingdoms is currently scheduled to be released in the spring of 2019.

Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale released in Japan and Southeast Asia

Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale will be released in Japan and Southeast Asia today.

Produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Tomohiko Itō, the movie is based on the Sword Art Online light novel series written by Reki Kawahara.

The movie features a new story set after the events of the anime’s second season. A new game called “Oridinal Scale”, an Augmented-Reality MMO, is becoming popular among the players. However, Kirito and the gang are about to find out that Ordinal Scale isn’t all fun and games.

Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale will be released in the United States, Australia and New Zealand on 9 March 2017 and other countries thereafter.

The Great Wall released in China

The Great Wall was released in China on 16 December 2016.

The Great Wall is a 3D epic historical monster movie produced by Legendary Entertainment and directed by Zhang Yimou. The cast includes Matt Damon, Jing Tian, Pedro Pascal, Willem Dafoe and Andy Lau.

In the movie, a British mercenary joins the Chinese to battle an army of monsters atop the Great Wall.

The movie is distributed by China Film Group in China and will be distributed internationally by Universal Pictures later this month and in subsequent months.

Black Friday deals, Civilization VI

I have not updated this blog for almost a year, so with Black Friday approaching, now is about as good a time as any to do so.

Gamespot brings us its list of the best PC Black Friday 2016 deals for games, monitors, keyboards, mice and more.

One of the games on Gamespot's list is Civilization VI, which was released on 21 October this year.

Civilization VI, the sixth entry in the Civilization franchise, is a turn-based strategy game in which the player leads a civilisation from the Stonge Age to the Information Age, waging war, conducting diplomacy and advancing his culture in the process to build the greatest civilisation on the planet.
